Aged 12-17 and love to camp? Then you’re perfect for CCY…
The Camping and Caravanning Club Youth (CCY) section, supported by the South Suffolk District Association (DA), offers young people aged 12-17 the opportunity to engage in the outdoors through exciting camping experiences. Youth members benefit from free membership and can participate in various meets, events, and rallies designed to teach practical camping skills, leadership, and teamwork in a fun and safe environment. Those who pass their Youth Test by age 18 can continue enjoying membership benefits until they turn 25.
The Youth section is all about fostering a love for camping and helping members develop life skills, from pitching tents to cooking outdoors and even participating in sports and activities like volleyball and football during events like the National Youth Rally.
An annual highlight is the National Youth Rally, which brings all Regions together to take part in all sorts of activities from sporting events, with Regions competing against each other, to games, fun races and discos. Camping Club Youth members can also attend the International Youth Rally, held in a different European country each year, giving you the opportunity to travel abroad and meet Youth members from other countries.
